This beautiful precious little soul has been coming to my studio since she was two weeks old. I have had honor of photographing her as a newborn, a little sitter and now here is her one-year-old pictures. I am madly in love with this image. I found this chair and antique store and snatched it up immediately. I think she is so beautiful! One-year-olds can be difficult to photograph, because they’re so beautifully curious and always on the go. But I love when I get to capture them. I certainly take a lot more images with one-year-olds. When I sit down at my computer and I find the ones that I love I’m so excited.
I love that her mommy painted her itsy-bitsy, teeny tiny toes. She said she painted them while she was eating in her highchair. Not a bad idea.
We did family pictures as well. I love this one because she’s just now starting to learn how to walk. Capturing those special moments are so important.
She will be loved playing with these blocks. These blocks I made a few years ago have really come in handy. All my babies love playing with the blocks.
We had a little cake smash. I thought mom did great picking out her little outfit and her cake. She’s not really a big fan of cake so she cried and smiled at the same time throughout the session. It was absolutely hilarious.
Can you believe she’s reading already. 😉 she must be the smartest baby ever!
If my one year olds have a cake smash I always take him to the kitchen sink to get cleaned up. One day I was doing that and thought that the baby looked so sweet getting a bath from mama. So, I grab my camera and use the natural light from the window and took images. I do this every time now and it turns out to be some of our most favorite pictures. I always think with mom‘s hands in the pictures that one day when she’s all grown up so see that image and remember her mom’s hands. There’s just something about recognizing your mom‘s hands.
This is another one on that awesome green chair. We turned her around and I love this picture
I truly love this sweet baby. And of course you know how much I love shooting on all white. This was in my new white studio. Look at that adorable face! It doesn’t get any cuter than this.
This is another shot in the sink bath. Sometimes you just can’t beat natural light I’ll tell you.
One more with the green chair. Just because we have the cutest little smile! I’m so honored I get to photograph the sweet little humans!I am so grateful every time. This little one is certainly going to be a part of my portfolio and if you would like to find out more information, please contact me. .entry-content
